The Foddi farmhouse is located in the hills above the town of Sarzana (ancient seat of the bishops of Luni) at 5 minutes by car.
The area in which our farm is located is historically called Lunigiana and is between Liguria and Tuscany, between the provinces of La Spezia, Massa-Carrara and bordering the Garfagnana (LU). This place is an excellent starting point for excursions to the sea (Cinque terre, Portovenere, Lerici, La Spezia, Versilia), to the mountains (Apuan Alps, Appennino Tosco Emiliano with the Passi del Cerreto, del Lagastrello and Cisa). to the art cities (Sarzana, Pietra Santa, Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Massa Marittima) and many places for lovers of food and wine.
To reach our farm from the Sarzana motorway exit, follow the directions below:
- at the Sarzana exit, take Via Variante Aurelia in the direction to Pisa for 3.6km;
- turn left onto the SS 446 towards Fosdinovo and proceed for about 4.5km;
- in the locality of Pilastri turn left to take via Celso and continue for about 1.1km;
- turn left at the “Azienda Agricola Foddi” sign and take the private road to your destination.
